The 17th Macao International Movie Festival was held in Macao in December 2025. As the only international film and television event officially registered and trademarked by the Macao SAR government, this edition of the festival was co-organized by the Macao Film and Television Media Association and the China International Culture Communication Center. Eight competition categories were set up, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Actor/Actress, to vie for the highest honor—the Golden Lotus Award.
